Al Shohada

Rahaf (Rahaf) at reception was kind, polite, and helpful whenever I needed something. Her warm welcome made a real difference to my stay. Al Shohada Hotel was clean and comfortable, with tidy, well-kept rooms and a calm, welcoming feel. The service was excellent, too. It's conveniently located not far from Masjid Al Haram, so getting there for prayers and visits was easy. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay and good service.

We spent three nights at Al Shohada Hotel in Makkah, from 25th to 28th January,2026, and were very satisfied. Breakfast had a good selection, was delicious, and was well organized. The rooms were very clean, and the atmosphere was peaceful and comfortable. Miss. Rahaf, the Customer Service Manager, was especially caring and professional. She checked in on us several times to make sure everything was going well, and her hospitality made the stay more memorable. We'd happily stay again and recommend the hotel to families and pilgrims visiting Makkah.

The restaurant deserves five stars from me, though I'd give the rooms three. At the restaurant in Al Shohada, Makkah, Mr.Khaled Mohammad Fayez welcomed us warmly and was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. Service was quick, and he was always ready to help with a smile. Manager Mr.Ahmed Salama also showed strong leadership and personally made sure things were organized and customers were happy. Both of them made our visit enjoyable. Thank you for the great service.

If you want to stay near Haram without paying the rates of the hotels right beside it, this is a good value. It's about a 6-8 minute walk away, with small shops nearby, and the location is the main draw. Check-in was quick, reception was nice, and the porters were efficient and pleasant. The lobby is great, there's an ice cream shop and a few other interesting things, and with several lifts we never waited long. Rooms are generally good, with the usual sufficient amenities. The rooms at the back, facing the hill, get almost no noise. The building seems old and could use some maintenance, so I wouldn't put the rooms at five-star level. Quadruple rooms have two beds that are usually smaller but comfortable, though they make the space feel congested. Still, it's a solid option if you want to be close to Haram and keep costs down.
