Afraa hotel

The staff were helpful, and the hotel has a good location with good trips to and from Al Haram. My three-year-old daughter enjoyed playing at the hotel playground with Mrs Semah.

Afraa hotel was cozy and pretty comfortable. The room was nicely clean, and I have nothing to complain about. There’s a shuttle bus to Masjid el Haram at specific times, with pick-up at the drop-off point. During my stay, that was at the makareem ajyad. Thank you! Wishing you a blessed stay and umrah makboula insha'Allah!

Update after the reply: I stayed in room#1001. There was no mirror, no wardrobe door, and a leak in the washroom. Thankfully, they gave us a different room. I called several times using the reception and laundry numbers mentioned in the reply, and was told they had no iron box or ironing facility. Even before that, I had expected basic comfort from a 3-star hotel and was disappointed. There was no iron in the room, and repeated calls to reception and housekeeping didn’t get one or any follow-up. There was no mirror either, which was inconvenient and surprising for a hotel with so many rooms. The missing basic amenities and poor response made my stay unpleasant. Management needs to improve housekeeping and make sure rooms are properly equipped before guests arrive.

Nearby construction was making an annoying noise all day and night. The work started at 2:30 am. Imagine being blessed with Umrah, tired and wanting to sleep before waking for Fajar prayer, then being woken up by that sound of construction. 🥲
