M Hotel Al Dana Makkah by Millennium

My husband and I spent 14 days here, from 1-14 Zulhijjah, for Hajj. The hotel is very close to the Jamarat, and the walk there is completely flat. KUJDT, our PJH (travel agent), chose well. Shops and Bin Dawood are nearby, and the hotel has good facilities, nice prayer rooms, and tasty food served in two places to manage the crowds. Highly recommended for Hajj.

The shuttle to the Haram was well arranged and convenient, especially at busy times, and the hotel prices felt reasonable for the service and hospitality. I found M Al Dana Hotel in Makkah honest and trustworthy throughout my stay. The rooms were clean and well looked after, and the laundry service was efficient and reliable. The restaurant and cafeteria were also very clean, with fresh, well-prepared food that I enjoyed. Reception staff, both men and women, were courteous, professional, and welcoming. They were ready to help, and their respectful manner made me feel comfortable from the start. This is my personal experience, and I’m sincerely grateful to the hotel for its hospitality and attention to guests.

The hotel is somewhat far from the Haram, but its well-organized shuttle made the trip easy. Check-in went smoothly, and the staff were welcoming and professional. I spent a full month here, and the rooms stayed clean and comfortable throughout. Housekeeping did an excellent job, and the property is a good choice for a longer stay. The problem was how management handled a service disruption. On three nights, electricity was cut completely for six hours each night for maintenance. They didn’t run backup generators to keep the air conditioning on, and management wasn’t professional when I raised the issue. The hotel is very clean, but its crisis handling and communication with guests need work.
