Nawazi Tower Hotel Makkah

Sorry, this has to be a somewhat negative review. The good things are the main road, taxis available all the time, and buses to haraam. But there was absolutely no room service, and most of the washroom amenities were broken. A screw was sticking up from the floor and injured my mom's foot. There's no Wi-Fi in the room either. At around 11:30PM, a guy kept knocking and asking if we needed tissue or toiletries. I asked him not to come again, but he said it was their rule. We were tired and asleep, and this happened at least three nights. I complained, but nothing changed.

The price really doesn’t match what you get here, and I won’t stay again. The bus service was poor and the drivers were rude, while reception staff weren’t friendly either. The room smelled constantly and had little ventilation. I asked room service to freshen it after cleaning, but they said they had no air freshener. Cleaning was poor, everything felt old, and there seemed to be no regular maintenance. The plumbing was broken, leaving the toilet floor extremely wet even when it hadn’t been used. Check-in took over an hour because we couldn’t find a room that was even reasonably clean. The system also showed rooms as empty after guests had already entered them.

We couldn't use the car because one vehicle was meant to serve all the towers. Two of the six elevators were out of order every day, and there was no Wi-Fi in the room. I asked for maintenance from the day I arrived through the end of my six-day stay, but no technician ever came. There was no room service at all. I was in room 123.

Getting around was terrible. The distance isn’t far, but the ramp is hard to walk up in the opposite direction when returning from the Haram. The number of elevators also didn’t seem adequate for the rooms. The rooms themselves weren’t bad, but during seven nights I saw room service only once, and that was after asking reception two days in a row. Check-in was very strange too.
