For sightseeing and getting to the main attractions, this hotel wasn't very convenient. It was quite far from the city centre, and the language barrier added to the difficulty. Al Meknan Hotel had the basic amenities, but nothing that stood out from similar places. My stay was average, about three stars. If you want easy access to the heart of the city, you might want to consider somewhere else.

The stay was comfortable, and the staff were excellent. The place was really tidy and reasonably priced, with decent quality. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Quba Masjid. I knew it wasn't particularly close to Masjid Nabavi when I booked, but chose it anyway.

The hotel was good value for money. I paid approx Rs 8500 - 360 SAR for two nights. Al Meknan hotel is some distance from Madina, so you need to hire a cab, which will charge around 10 SAR.

The price feels quite high for a place this far from the mosque. The interior is ancient, and the air conditioner barely cools the room. You could get much better for what you pay, though it's all right.

For 135-160riyals oer night, it was more than enough. The place is clean and good inside, with more space than you'd guess from outside. The parking lot is quite large, and if it's full, there's another large lot beside the bakery.
