Almadinah Manazeli Hotel

Our room was clean and very nice, with a view through the window across the whole mosque. The hotel is very close to the Prophet's Mosque in Medina. I'd recommend staying here.

The room felt compact, and the shower, restroom fittings, and other fixtures seem a bit dated. Still, the bedding was spotless and the furniture was in decent shape.

The hotel could use a facelift, though getting to the mosque takes only about a minute on foot. I was there during Ramadan in 2024, and the location was amazing. Outside construction was really noisy. I've added a photo taken from my room.

For all the downsides with the food, I'd stay here again for the location alone. It took barely three minutes to reach a Masjid Nabawi gate after crossing the road, which was a big plus for our group of 24. We spent four nights here in January 2023. The restaurant is small, and other groups dine there too, so get there early. The food was edible and filled us up, but wasn't special or memorable. Groups may have separate buffets, so check you're at the right one. The restaurant staff are outsourced and didn't offer the customer service I usually expect. I used my basic Arabic to connect with them, which made things more pleasant. I'd rather eat outside next time. The room was roomy enough for two, but tight for three. The bathroom was nothing special, but everything worked, and hot water helped with tired muscles. The air conditioning and small fridge worked fine. There's a pharmacy on the ground floor, though basic items like Paracetamol and toothpaste cost quite a bit. SIM sellers are nearby, and a little grocery shop in the back lane has snacks, biscuits, bread rolls, drinks, and instant noodles, a welcome change from the hotel's repetitive meals. After Solah, leave by a different gate to find more shops. For Raudhah, turn right after entering the Masjid gate and walk roughly 400m along the right side.
