Hafawah Suites

The cancellation was handled kindly: I had booked four nights, then plans changed and I needed to cancel after the free cancellation period. They accepted it without a fee. The hotel is very neat, and the staff showed good hospitality. Al Rashid mall is right across the road, but since it’s a highway, you need a vehicle to get there safely. The hotel is far from masjid-e-nabvi, which is why I took off one star. Ohad mountain looks beautiful from here, especially at night. It’s a recommended place to spend time with friends or family.

Abdulaziz Al-Omari was especially kind and supportive, and the staff were attentive throughout my two-night stay. Hafawa Suites was clean, orderly and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to improve the tap water pressure. I’d recommend the hotel.

The windows were a real nuisance when it got windy. They rattled loudly and sometimes opened by themselves. We changed rooms, from 312 to 203, but the same issue followed us. Getting across the road on foot isn’t possible, so families with children will need a taxi. The hotel does have good-sized rooms, quick lifts and a café by reception. Reception staff were polite and helpful, though room service let the stay down. Apart from those problems, it’s a comfortable, decent place.

Rooms were tidy, and I enjoyed the stay, especially the rooftop view of ohud mountain. Al Rashid mall is nearby for shopping and food, and Coffee 44x in the courtyard is the best. The big problem was housekeeping. They wouldn’t come before 7pm, even when I asked for cleaning, and it’s hard to sit in a mess until then. The hotel is far from Haram, so you’ll need a taxi. Otherwise, I enjoyed the rooms and thought the stay was good.
