Anwar Al Madinah Mövenpick Hotel

The room view was fantastic, and the upgrade that came with my Accor Gold status made the wait feel worthwhile. The room itself was solid. Getting there took patience, though: I was told it wasn’t ready and that I’d get a call, but no one called. I went back to the desk myself after Asr prayer and completed check-in. At first, the main reception couldn’t process my request to use Accor Live Limitless (ALL) points for the booking and said they couldn’t see that option. The dedicated Accor member desk consulted colleagues and eventually approved the deduction. It’s a great property, but as a Gold member I found I had to know my benefits and keep following up to get them applied. The location is good, though reaching the Haram gates takes a slight detour compared with the more direct route from Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah. The walk is manageable, but travelers looking for the shortest route may notice. Strong status recognition and great views, with some communication gaps at the front desk.

Being right on the edge of the haram made everything convenient, especially since Movenpick hotel is inside a shopping centre. Our haram-facing room was spacious and lovely. Ladies salaah was just a two-minute walk away, and the inner courtyard was about 100mt. Rawda was 500mt, so leave early if you’re going there. The reception team were excellent, our cleaner was accommodating and did a really good job, and the morning buffet was delicious with wonderful staff. We loved staying here. Having such a nice hotel made the visit much better.

The kitchen, bathroom, and room were all clean and neatly kept, and the room was made up every day. The cleaning staff were polite and sincere, and did excellent work. Thanks to mr rafiq for the careful, professional housekeeping.

Breakfast was really amazing, and the view from the room was breathtaking. The room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out, with a peaceful feel that made it easy to relax and reflect after a long day. I’d heard mixed reviews, but my recent stay at Anwar Almadina Movenpick was exceptional. The staff welcomed me warmly and helped with every detail. Every interaction felt personal, and I felt valued rather than like just another guest. Special thanks to Raghad at reception for being so helpful and kind. I left refreshed and will definitely return on my next visit. I highly recommend Anwar Almadina Movenpick for comfort and genuine hospitality.
