Arjwan Rose Hotel

There’s a café area in the hotel for snacks and other things, though prices are a bit above market rates. Shops, markets, and restaurants are also nearby, and Masjid Nabawi is only a 4-5 minute walk away. The rooms are clean, about 7/10, and good for a short visit, but I wouldn’t recommend a long stay. They’re decent, though not very spacious. Honestly, I’d rate the hotel 7/10.

Worst nightmare. The room was really small and the door wouldn’t open. The card didn’t work, the staff were rude, and I don’t recommend this very bad hotel.

The cabinets were broken and there were no towels in the washroom. Even the reception phone wasn’t connected to anything. We asked twice for the trash to be taken, but got no help. Pathetic service and zero customer care. Pick another hotel, or you’ll waste your time and money here.

We came hoping to enjoy our time here and visit Masjid un Nabawi, but the room made a terrible first impression. The carpet had burn marks, the room was so cramped that even five suitcases wouldn’t fit, and the walls were yellowed. We were staying for a week, so at first we didn’t mind. Just one day later, a staff member knocked and told us to pack up and move nine floors down so they could do maintenance in our room. After another two or three days, they knocked again and told us to get out, even though we were due to check out that night. They told us at the last minute to move to another hotel. We tried explaining that we weren’t packing to go to a different hotel, but they wouldn’t listen. They threatened to lock the door on us and cut the electricity, so we were forced to go to another hotel. This place was a nightmare, and I don’t recommend it.
