We couldn't properly rest because hallway and neighboring-room noise carried through the night. We could hear doors slamming, conversations, and people moving around, which points to poor sound insulation and room design. The room and facilities also seemed outdated and not well maintained. Some essential features didn't work reliably, fixtures looked neglected, and basic cleanliness and technical function weren't up to standard. Staff handled requests slowly, without much urgency or clear responsibility, and their attentiveness and professionalism fell short of what I'd expect from an international hotel at this level. Breakfast and dining were disappointing too, with limited selection and quality below what I'd expect for this classification. The overall experience didn't match the advertised five-star standard. Given the maintenance, facilities, and service, I can't recommend this hotel.

The most immediate problem was check-in. Even with a confirmed reservation, we stood at reception for about four hours while staff couldn't get us checked in. There was little communication, no efficient handling, and no urgency. That isn't professional service for a hotel in this category. The room was poorly maintained and not properly cleaned. Furniture was extensively worn, with structural issues, and wooden parts showed deterioration consistent with long neglect. The floor wasn't clean, and the sheets and covers didn't look hygienic. The bed was uncomfortable and didn't let us rest properly. Staff also handled requests poorly, making no meaningful effort to fix things or acknowledge how serious the problems were. It felt like there was no accountability or operational control. Food quality fell below reasonable expectations for an international hotel with a five-star label. The gap between that advertised classification and the actual cleanliness, condition, and service was significant. This was a deeply disappointing and unacceptable stay at the Crowne Plaza Medina, and I can't recommend the property.

Amnah made a huge difference to my stay. I came all the way from New York, exhausted, and she welcomed me warmly, helped me with what I needed, and made sure I felt comfortable right away. She was kind, friendly, and generous with her help, going above and beyond to make things easy. I really appreciate everything she did. The rest of the hotel felt clean, comfortable, and well organized, with a welcoming atmosphere and staff who made us feel at home from arrival. The service was generous and the hospitality excellent. Thanks to Amnah, my stay was more relaxing and pleasant. I'd happily come back and recommend it to anyone wanting a pleasant, stress-free stay.

The rooms were very comfortable, breakfast had lots of high-quality options, and the location was excellent. The hotel felt busy but welcoming and well managed, with staff who consistently provided a high standard of service. The concierge team helped make our stay at the Crowne Plaza Medina memorable. From arrival, we were treated warmly and with genuine care. Mr. Mahmoud Saad deserves special recognition for going far beyond his duties. He was attentive and patient, helped with logistics and questions, and proactively made sure we were comfortable. His professional, courteous, sincere approach made a real difference, and it's the kind of experience guests remember long after leaving.
