Grand Marmara Hotel

It’s right next to Al Masjid Al Nabawi, only about five minutes away, and being on the main street makes it easy to get a taxi. Our room was a good size and very clean. Room service was slow at times, and reception didn’t always answer when we called, but we still had a very pleasant stay.

Being less than a five-minute walk from the Haram made a big difference for our group of 10, especially for Fajr and Taraweeh. Even the children and other family members could get to the Masjid easily, with a straightforward path. We were warmly welcomed with flowers, and the service throughout our Ramadan 2025 Umrah stay exceeded what we expected. Our rooms were spacious, bright, and had what we needed. The beds were comfortable after long days of worship, the bathrooms were spotless, and the housekeeping team kept everything clean each day and regularly replenished the amenities. ZAINAB was especially wonderful. She helped with room arrangements, extra amenities, and general guidance, and was always available when we needed something. Her kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness made the stay smooth and comfortable, and she helped us feel at home. Thank you, Zainab, for making everything so seamless. The staff were very helpful, and Masjid al Nabawy is only a few minutes away on foot. Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully presented. The one downside was that water drained very slowly from the shower, though that might just have been an issue in my room.

The toilets in both rooms were clean and seemed new or recently renovated, and we had an electric kettle, towels, and tissues. The rooms were neat and clean, and the hotel felt new, though it was quite expensive. We stayed one night: room 907, with three beds, was warm in winter, while room 912, with two beds, was cold. The heating system was off, and only the AC worked. WiFi was strong in the lounges only.
