Al Eairy Apartments Madinah 3 was a very disappointing stay, nowhere near what Agoda advertised as a luxury apartment. I paid 300 SAR per night, though the condition didn’t feel worth more than 100 SAR. The building environment was extremely unpleasant and below an acceptable standard. Agoda’s photos were attractive but misleading, and its location listing was wrong. Our taxi driver spent more than two hours trying to find the property, and I had to pay extra for that wasted time. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and none spoke English, which made communication very difficult. The apartment had no soundproofing and was so noisy that sleeping was impossible. Construction outside started early in the morning with hammering, so resting during the day wasn’t possible either. It looked like the work could continue for years. Inside, the basin tap didn’t work, the shower barely worked because the water pressure was extremely low, and the bathroom was in very poor condition, like a junk place. There were no hooks or space to hang towels or clothes, and no bedroom socket for charging a mobile phone. The lift display was broken, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and no drinking water was provided. There were no food shops nearby. Walking to Haram took around 59 minutes, while a taxi cost 25-30 SAR. A very unpleasant accommodation and a complete disappointment. I strongly advise avoiding it if possible.
