The rooms are small for groups of four or five, and there's no intercom in the room. If you tip the staff, they respond quickly. The front desk is also quick to resolve things, but you have to walk over because there's no intercom. The hotel is now called Karam Al-Khair Hotel. It's on the west side of Haraam, around 400 metres from outer gates 318 and 320 and inner gates 12 (ladies) and 10 (gents). Wi-Fi is very good. There are only three lifts, so with high occupancy and at mealtimes the wait averages 5-10 minutes.

I stayed from 28-01-2019 to 04-02-2019 and didn't get any room service. They clearly refused to come. There was no Wi-Fi, no towels, no soap or shampoo, and nobody at reception to help. The lighting was poor, the lifts were terrible, and the rooms were small. The bedsheets and blanket were unhygienic and smelled bad. The only benefit is that it's quite near Masjid e Nabwi. Do not stay here.

The management was horrible. You have to wait far too long at reception to get or hand over keys, and the elevator can take many minutes too. It's near Masjid-e-Nabwi for men, but if you're with family, don't stay here because the women's entry gates at Masjid-e-Nabwi are far away.

The location near Gate 8 of Masjid e Nabwi was convenient, but the service was the worst I’ve experienced. During my six days there, nobody cleaned the room. The lifts were confusing, and Wi-Fi was only available at reception. Guests weren’t given the password at check-in; you had to ask. When I raised issues, the response was rude and unethical, as if my stay were free. One Bangladeshi receptionist, Mr. Yasin, was particularly rude. I reported twice that the curtain was half torn and hanging, but nothing was done. The TV didn’t work either. Even though I didn’t really need it, I could have used it to watch the tawaf at Makkah. I asked for it to be fixed and was told someone would look into it, but there was no follow-up.

The Wi-Fi was good, and the hotel is near Masjid Nabwi on the west side. But the rooms are too cramped, and with so many people staying there, the lifts get extremely crowded. There’s no intercom.
