Karam Al-Fedhi Hotel

The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the customer service was very poor. I’ve stayed in many hotels, but never had staff speak to me in such a disrespectful and unprofessional way. There was only one toilet paper roll in the room, and it was already half used. When I went downstairs at night for more, the staff member on duty, possibly a bellboy, told me to come back later. I asked again when I returned, and he said I should have requested it after 9 AM. When I explained the room had only come with a half-used roll, he argued instead of helping. He even said I should have brought paper from home or bought it myself. A very disappointing stay.

Getting any problem resolved was a struggle. When I raised the issues, the staff showed little concern, didn’t meaningfully try to help, and didn’t apologize or offer solutions. Their lack of care and professionalism was shocking. The room was poorly prepared, with visible dirt, worn furnishings, and several things broken or not working properly. Noise also made it hard to rest, whether it came through thin walls, from outside, or from a lack of control in the hotel. Basic information at check-in wasn’t explained clearly, and questions got vague or dismissive replies. The process itself was slow and disorganized, and staff seemed uninterested, so it never felt welcoming. The standards felt far below what was advertised. Cleanliness, comfort, service, and communication all failed. I regret choosing this place, won’t return, and strongly advise people to avoid it. There are better options at similar or lower prices.

The location is fine, and the food was okay, but the hotel was small and the rooms very cramped. The washrooms were dirty, and there were no towels.

My family suffered a lot during our one week stay. The rooms smelled bad and felt dirty and unhealthy, and the staff were stubborn and uncooperative. This is the dirtiest hotel. I would never recommend it.
