Odst Al-Madinah

The rooms are clean at first, but during a stay nobody takes out the trash or cleans unless you ask reception repeatedly. Most rooms smell awful, and the service is bad. The phones in the rooms don't get answered. If you go to management to push for a room change, they don't even check whether the new room is in good shape or the AC works. In May 2026 the air conditioning was absolutely terrible. It was over 40 outside and nearly 30 in the room. After repeated calls and begging management to look into it, an electrician came and said it would be fine in 10 minutes. Nobody ever fixed it. One of the worst hotels I've been to in Madinah. The only good thing is the distance from the Masjid.

The location is the ONLY good part. The room condition is pathetic, and there's no room service. If you stay a week, nobody changes sheets, cleans, or empties the bins until you leave. Nobody listens to complaints, and the receptionists barely speak English, so communication is difficult. The safe is locked and can't be reset. They didn't provide an extra room key, so whenever you leave you have to leave the key at the counter for your roommate or partner.

A good budget choice about a 10 minute walk from Haram. The rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. There's free car parking and the WiFi is great. Bathrooms are average, but the water pressure is great and the toiletries are good. Hot water is scalding hot!

The location is fairly close to Haram, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby, and parking is free. But the underground parking entrance is very narrow and really hard to get through. It's risky, so I wouldn't park there again and would choose somewhere else. Long vehicles definitely aren't recommended. Check-in was a long queue at an unorganized reception. The room was cramped, with barely enough space to sleep, and the WiFi signal was weak. We booked for four people but got just one key card. Breakfast was below average. If you find another hotel with a better rating, go there.
