Taiba Suites Hotel

We had a Suite with Haram view, and it was beautiful. The room was the right size for a family with children, and the location worked well too. It’s a little expensive, but worth it, and I think the hotel is underrated. The room has a modern design and looks newly renovated. The armchair by the elevator needs to be replaced right away.

I stayed here and the staff were amazing. One housekeeper in particular did such hard work and gave great customer service. He deserves recognition.

We paid 2,700 SAR per night for a suite, expecting a five-star stay, but the experience was nowhere near that. The street noise came straight through the closed windows: horns, engines, everything sounded as if the windows were open. I couldn’t relax or sleep properly. The bathroom had a constant foul smell that spread into the room even with the door shut. Although the hotel is supposedly smoke-free, people smoked in the corridors and the smell was everywhere. Staff clearly didn’t enforce the policy. We asked several times to move to another suite and were told the hotel was full. One employee quietly said rooms were available, but the supervisor wouldn’t give one to us. That felt dishonest and was poor customer service. The front desk was also hard to reach, with calls answered only on the third or fourth try, which is shocking at this price. The service was subpar, the room noisy and smelly, and the staff unprofessional. It wasn’t a premium or five-star experience and absolutely wasn’t worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The staff were great about requests for soap, an iron, or anything else, and they got back to me promptly. They always greeted me in the lobby. They also handled the room difficulties I had with the company I came to Saudi Arabia to work for with friendly professionalism. Getting a taxi or Uber to the hotel was the frustrating part. The address and hotel name cause confusion: the building says Lyle Hotel, so searching for it online doesn’t work well. Each time, I had to call the hotel and let the driver speak with staff to find us. They were nice and laughed it off, even though I’m sure it was annoying. I now know the listing is under Tainan Suites.
