Al Muhaidb Airport Hotel

The manager handled my complaint really well and moved me quickly to a larger, more comfortable room away from the noise. That was after a rough first night, when traffic racing past my window kept me awake. The window was quite small too.

The simple room design felt cozy, and check-in and checkout were easy. The staff, especially at the front desk, were friendly and helpful. After looking at nearby hotels, I thought this was good value. The metro is close, and I got from the hotel to the airport in 1 hour and 30 minutes during rush hour. The TV channels need sorting out, though, and a desk would help guests who need to work.

The room was incredibly noisy, like a crowded market, because the windows don’t block the sound. The front desk staff member was rude and swore at guests. There was no service at all, and the behavior was very, very rude. I don’t know what the owner thinks about this, but that’s how the front desk was acting.
