Alma Hotel Riyadh

I’m still waiting for my refund, and the hotel has stopped responding to my calls and messages. This has badly affected my trust in its customer service and how it handles things after a stay. I asked several days before checkout to leave two nights early because my business had finished ahead of schedule. The hotel directed me to Booking.com, so I contacted them right away. Booking.com said the property had to approve and process the early checkout and refund, and that they had contacted the hotel. But on checkout day, the hotel said no one had contacted them and nothing had been done. On my way to the airport, I called Booking.com again. They said they had emailed the hotel manager twice and tried calling several times, without an answer. Now the hotel says Booking.com needs to act, while Booking.com says it’s waiting for the hotel. The poor communication and lack of accountability left me stuck and added unnecessary stress while I was travelling.

A modern hotel in a prime location, with a great breakfast and excellent service. Special thanks to receptionist Al Waleed Al Obaidi, who went above and beyond by paying out of his own pocket to order hygiene items for us. That’s real hospitality. Highly recommended.

On my first stay at the Alma Riyadh, I was impressed by the lovely finish and great facilities. When I realized I’d lost my passport, Hotel Manager Mr Abdulmohsen Almuhanna took charge and found it within two hours. It was picked up at no cost. Amazing, and well beyond what he needed to do.

I’m really enjoying the EMS classes at Fit Dose in the hotel. The sessions are motivating, and I can already feel the benefits. Trainer Mohammed Ali deserves special thanks for his excellent guidance, training, and professionalism. Highly recommended!
