Jiwar Al Madina Hotel

Our two rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, and we found the atmosphere throughout the hotel calm and pleasant. My husband and I were on the 8th floor, while my parents stayed on the 9th. We spent 6 days at Jiwar Al Madina Hotel during Ramadan, and its location near Gate 305, just a 5 minute walk to the Haram, made going to prayers easy without long walks or transport. The staff handled our late check-in smoothly, as requested in advance because our flight arrived at Madina Airport late at night. The two night receptionists, whose names I didn’t catch, were welcoming and patient whenever we needed help. Housekeeping took great care of both rooms. On the 8th floor, Ibrahim and Shahid kept ours spotless and refreshed each day. They were attentive and respectful, and quickly brought extra towels, water bottles, or toiletries when we asked. It was especially nice to return to a clean, comfortable room between prayers. On the 9th floor, Numan Ahmed and another staff member, whose name I forgot to ask, looked after my parents just as well. They were kind and prompt, and my parents appreciated how respectfully they treated them. Knowing they were comfortable gave us peace of mind. The Bengali uncle porter at the entrance also made a lovely impression. I don’t remember his name, but he welcomed us, helped with our luggage, and gave useful directions and information about nearby facilities and the Haram area. He was friendly and sincere with guests. The location, smooth service, comfortable rooms, and caring housekeeping made our Ramadan visit memorable and stress free. We’d gladly recommend the hotel, especially to families or anyone visiting during Ramadan, and hope to stay again.

The room had a couple of problems, mostly that the bed was hard. Shahid and Ibrahim, who look after the 7th and 8th floors, were really helpful. They brought lots of blankets to try to soften the mattress, cleaned regularly, and checked that we were comfortable. They made the stay much more enjoyable, thank you both. It’s a good value location for families, just a 5 minute walk from the mosque.

It’s just a 2-3 minute walk to the courtyard side. The rooms are cleaned perfectly when you hang the cleaning sign on the door, and everyone on staff was friendly, polite, and helpful. Breakfast was filling, with good choices, and I especially enjoyed the omelette station. Alhamdulilah, we had a good stay at Jiwar. I’ll come back inshAllah.

Room 407. I don’t usually write reviews, but after 3 nights here I wanted to. The location, staff, and food were all amazing, and the hotel went beyond what I expected. Mr. Bukhari at Reception was particularly polite and helpful, which I haven’t often experienced at hotels I’ve stayed in makkah and madina. We had ifthar and suhoor as a package, and both the delicious food and genuinely excellent service stood out. I hope to stay here again whenever I come back, In sha Allah.
