The location is perfect, and everything was neat and clean. The staff were very cooperative, especially the man on reception at night. If I go to Riyadh again, I'll choose Dalin hotel. Thanks for the service.

I booked through Agoda three days ahead for 8 March to 9 March. When I arrived at about 2:30 PM to check in, the receptionist wouldn't let me check in. If there was a problem with my reservation, I think the hotel should have told me before I arrived, not at the last moment. It caused a lot of inconvenience and left me in a difficult situation. I had to quickly find another hotel and book immediately, at almost twice the price. It was very stressful and not what I expected.

I went down for suhoor and found the staff eating before the guests. I was left with nothing to eat. The staff were cheap about it, and this was the worst experience I've had at this hotel.

The location is the one real highlight: Dalin Hotel is central and very close to the Inma Bank metro station. The rooms, though, are in rough shape, and the breakfast is included in the price whether you want it or not. My room was never cleaned during the three nights I stayed. There wasn't even an indicator light to request housekeeping. The carpet was dirty and smelled bad enough to irritate my airways, so I was glad the weather was cool and I could leave the window open. The room door did little to keep noise out. Late-night arrivals being shown to their rooms kept waking me up. There was also a strong sewage smell in the hallways that reached the elevators. The bathroom was in terrible condition: holes and visible mold in the floor tiles, very weak water pressure, and hot water that didn't work properly. There wasn't a bath towel in the room either, so I had to ask for one. Breakfast was very poor. The only things I could eat were hummus, cheese with bread, and a boiled egg; the rest of the food was low quality. Coffee came as Nescafé sachets like the ones in the room, for guests to make themselves. It's a shame a hotel in such a good spot is in this condition. The owner should start with bathroom renovations, then deep-clean the rooms, especially the carpets, and replace or sanitize the curtains, bedding, and other textiles. Until that happens, I can't recommend staying here.
