We booked a room with a queen-size bed at Carawan Al Khaleej Hotel Olaya, which is advertised as a four-star hotel. The room was cozy, but it didn’t come close to four-star condition. Most of the furniture was scratched or had chipped paint, and the cabinets were loose and worn. The room felt neglected and old, not premium. Service was very poor as well. We asked for extra towels at night, and reception said there was no housekeeping staff available. That was surprising and unacceptable for a hotel claiming four-star status. I’ve stayed in many hotels, and this place didn’t feel like a true four-star property in either maintenance or service. Better upkeep and proper staffing could help, but our stay fell short of expectations.

Spacious and pleasant, with really good service. There are Arabic breakfast options for everyone, and some nice restaurants nearby too. We had a very nice experience.

The staff were kind, professional, and always ready to help with whatever I needed. My room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and breakfast had a delicious range of choices. The location was perfect for the places I wanted to see and things I wanted to do. There’s parking in the basement. I had a wonderful stay, beyond what I expected, and would definitely come back. Highly recommend it.

For a very competitive price, you get a very good hotel and breakfast. I’d especially recommend the two-bedroom unit. It was spacious and really clean, and I had no complaints.

The furniture is very old, and the toilet smelled bad. There were no towels available in the hotel. This should be rated as a one-star furnished apartment.
