——— Dona Chalet ——— For a night away, a birthday or anniversary celebration, or simply some time to unwind, Dona chalets are a lovely option. These well-kept chalets are on the outskirts of Riyadh, near the king fahad highway, and are easy to reach. There are about five next to each other, with a modern, executive feel. I booked Chalet number 1, which is set up especially for kids. Its pool has slides, and there’s a trampoline on the lawn. The other chalets are alike, but their pools don’t have slides. Each chalet has a private pool, a master bedroom with an attached toilet, a living and dining room, an open kitchen, and another toilet. The kitchen has modern equipment, including a microwave, fridge, electric stoves, and cutlery. Plates and mugs are supplied too. The place was very clean and well maintained. They clean the pool every day, and maintenance is good. There’s lawn seating outside for a BBQ, and they provide a grill. Booking prices are 600sr per night on weekdays and 800sr on weekends. My code “AIMEN123” brings those prices down to 400sr on weekdays and 600sr on weekends. At booking, you need to provide 500sr and a valid Iqama copy. I went to see the place a few months ago. The rooms and pools looked really nice, and it seems like a great place to stay for a holiday.
