A friend had cockroaches on the pillows two nights in a row, which makes me think twice about this place. My own stay was in January 2024. The area was fairly quiet, about a 10-minute walk from a Danube and several restaurants, but the rooms were cramped, small, windowless, and full of old furniture. They smelled damp all day, with no way to air them out. The sheets weren't properly washed. I pointed out yellow marks that looked like oil stains, and the cleaner said they were rust and were "fine." He only changed the sheet after I insisted three times, and the replacement wasn't much better. The toilet fittings were broken and barely usable for showering or using the toilet, and some electrical sockets didn't work properly. The sofas looked like they hadn't been reupholstered since the 1990s, with old brown floral patterns and stains to match. The TV was also dated, a 32-inch second-generation flat screen that looked at least ten years old. Kids in apartments on the same floor made noise and disturbed people through the night, and caretakers weren't always around to sort out problems. It costs around SAR 3,500 a month, though you can also get a daily rate of about SAR 150. I didn't think it was worth the price. Look for other serviced apartments. One tip: if the lobby is grand and clean, the rooms are better than average.
