Ewaa Express Hotel - Gaber

I didn’t expect a hotel like this. The rooms are roomy and very clean, and breakfast is included. Really nice place!

The friendly staff made the stay pleasant, and the location was close to the services I needed. The room had a lot of useful things, including an iron and ironing board, a cooking area, and a microwave. There was also a room where guests could do their own laundry.

I spent 10 days here during my visit to Riyadh, in a third-floor suite facing the highway. Getting checked in was smooth, and the receptionist, an Egyptian, was cheerful and helpful. My room was cleaned often and smelled nice, and the linens, bed, sofas, and bathroom were clean. The suite had an oven, utensils, fridge, and small cooktop, so I could make a snack. There are free bikes, which I used at night to ride around and get to the nearest store. The hotel also has a free laundry room, though you have to bring the clothes back to your room to dry them since there’s no dryer there. Breakfast was good, and the café was decent. The Wi-Fi was awful, basically unusable, and too slow for working from the hotel. I also found the café staff less friendly toward Asians than toward Arabs. They weren’t disrespectful, but the difference in how they treated guests was noticeable. The location is nice and the rooms are clean, and for the price I paid, I still found the hotel very nice and worthwhile.

The atmosphere was peaceful and comfortable, and the hotel was beautiful. I enjoyed the varied, tasty breakfast, which made the stay more convenient. There’s a cozy café, free Wi-Fi, a self-service laundry, and a separate area for kids.
