Ewaa Express Hotel - Olaya

The staff made an already awful stay even worse. When they moved me to a different room, the man carrying my luggage dropped my whole bag on the floor and picked his nose while doing it. Later, after I ordered food and asked for a fork, an Indian staff member came to my room, pushed his way in, and insisted the fork was already there while looking around. I was shocked. There was no fork, which was why I’d asked for one. Housekeeping only comes when I request it, and every day something basic is missing, whether towels or other items. Ordering even a soda from the bar downstairs takes 20 to 30 minutes to arrive. It’s unbelievable. The room was dusty, with visible dirt, and the windows are completely broken and won’t close, so you hear everything from the street. The telephone doesn’t work either, which means I have to go downstairs whenever I need something. They never answer the number listed on Google. There are so many problems I can’t even list them all. Truly a horrible hotel, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Mr. Mohamed, the hotel manager, was cooperative and warmly welcoming, and his support made the stay even more enjoyable. The service was smooth from check-in through check-out, with friendly, helpful staff throughout. I had a pleasant stay at Ewaa Express Olaya Hotel. Its location is excellent for reaching key areas of Riyadh, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I’d definitely recommend the hotel and hope to stay again.

The location is great, and breakfast was good quality. The rooms were okay.

The location is the one real advantage here. Beyond that, there isn’t much the hotel has to offer. If your company hasn’t assigned it to you for a business trip, I’d steer clear.
