The sushi stood out most for me. The rice was cooked just right and barely held together under good-quality fish, making this the best sushi I've had in Riyadh. The menu also has plenty of variety, the ingredients are top notch, and the staff were lovely and welcoming. I especially liked the loud, warm greeting from the service team when you arrive. Prices, though, are on another level. There are at least six other high-end Japanese places in Riyadh, and I don't see why Nobu costs so much more. Some dishes were fine, but I've had them better prepared elsewhere. The manager handled my complaint very professionally, and the staff were wonderful.

Service was great, and I really liked the black cod and the rolls. The grilled wagyu tenderloin was amazing too, though the tacos weren't for me. I was disappointed by the restaurant's decor and atmosphere. I wouldn't expect that from a Japanese place presented as fine dining.

I expected a livelier atmosphere, especially compared with Nobu in NYC and LA. Still, the food was delicious, and the host and staff greeted each guest loudly in Japanese, which I liked. The server's recommendations were spot on. The shrimp salad, sushi, wagu beef, and pop corn shrimp were all very good. Also, I couldn't figure out why Nobu restaurant wasn't listed as a place, so I'm leaving this under Nobu Hotel.

The black cod was my favorite, full of flavor and so tender it melted in my mouth. I enjoyed trying a selection of dishes, and both the architecture and food were spectacular. The restaurant felt sophisticated and elegant. I really enjoyed it and will definitely come again!

The wagyu beef, cooked medium, and the shrimp salad were especially good. I'd recommend the Spicy edamame too. The food, atmosphere, and service were all amazing, and the staff were very professional and polite :)
