OYO 176 Hotel Safari Al Hada

The staff were extremely friendly, and my room was clean enough, with no smell or bugs. Parking was the one issue: there’s room for at most seven cars, so I had to park a little farther away than I was comfortable with. With a more thorough clean, this could easily be a 3-Star Lodge. It’s a fantastic option for a short stay.

We had booked through agoda a week before arriving, but when we got to the hotel at 10pm after driving from riyadh, we found out it was under maintenance. We were left in the middle of nowhere with two babies. Please deactivate your booking on agoda, or agoda should mark the hotel as under maintenance.

The shower switch that changes the water to the lower outlet was missing, so I had to operate it with my fingernails. Shampoo was also missing, although the other shower supplies were there. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned properly after the previous guest. The AC only cools, even though it was 10 Celsius degrees, so I had to open the balcony door in the morning to get warmer air. Google Maps showed 82 SR, but I was charged 100 SR when I arrived. I don’t recommend it.

A balcony comes with the rooms, and on a nice-weather day you can sit there with coffee and snacks and enjoy the view. The price is reasonable for a night or two, but for a longer stay you’ll need to call for room service.
