A decent, budget-friendly hotel in central Taif.
We paid 280 for one room, which felt very expensive for what was provided. The night staff were rude when we asked for a late check, and wouldn't listen to our requests. We're still at the hotel writing this so others know. Cleanliness is another problem.
We only stayed one night. The Booking.com app listing caused confusion: it showed a triple room for 180/=, but it should have said triple bed, since it was one room with three beds. We misunderstood and changed at the counter to a two-bedroom option for about 245/=, with three beds plus one king-size bed and two separate washrooms. The staff were helpful, courteous, and polite. The location was average, but nearby shops, eateries, and markets made it easy to get around. The rooms and linen were clean and in good condition. The AC worked, though it was a bit cold so we didn't use it much. There was a gas oven, small fridge, and working electric kettle. The TV only had Arabic channels, and the WiFi was terrible with no connection. We had our own internet and didn't bother complaining. Bathroom fixtures were worn and stained, but still worked. They could add a microwave, an iron and ironing stand, and more kitchen basics like glasses, cups, and knives. Still, it wasn't a bad experience overall.
Nice staff and a good experience.
The hotel was neat and clean, with spacious rooms and a clean bathroom. They provide toiletries and a kettle, and the customer service was good. Private parking isn't available. Still, the service was good overall, and it's a nice place to stay with family.
