Dream Resort

The furniture was worn and damaged, and the service was awful. We asked for cleaning and were ignored. The beach was dirty, and really the whole resort felt unbearable. This used to be one of our favorite resorts, but we left disappointed and won’t see it that way anymore. The price definitely wasn’t worth it. If I could give it a minus star, I would. Worst experience I’ve had.

The rooms were clean, and the reception staff were very good, but we had trouble with the TV and it took a while to get help. The cleaning services guy was extremely rude, unlike anyone I’d encountered before. Food and coffee at the court were very bad and expensive. The location is far from other restaurants and coffee shops. We won’t return, so bring everything you need if you go.

The private beach and three pools, each with a different depth, made it easy for adults, teens, and kids to spend the whole visit at the resort. It’s in Yanbu al Bahr, about 10 minutes from probably all the restaurants and services. The rooms are spacious and the ACs were good. I’d recommend visiting, and you could stay here throughout a Yanbu trip. I gave four stars because the pool had leaves and branches in it when the wind was strong, and one of our four beds was broken while another was very noisy. The double king bed was fine. In hindsight I wish I’d asked reception to change the beds, but that’s what happened during my stay.

I was told the Yanbu Resort is worth visiting. As for Al Lith, it’s still clean, safe, and great for families, as I mentioned before. There are a few minor maintenance issues, but it’s a lovely resort and good value for a fair price.
