OYO 311 Dorrat Tarff Hotel

The hotel was clean and reasonably priced. I rented a room and lounge on opening day, but food smells spread through the whole hotel at lunchtime and at night. The rooms have no ventilation. Cooking is supposed to be prohibited, but there aren't any cooking utensils either. I told reception and got no response. It felt like sleeping inside a cooking pot. We came to relax and sleep, not deal with other people, so I canceled the rest of my reservation and left.

The rooms were unclean, and management was terrible. One of the worst hotels.

The hotel is clean and safe, but the room costs 180 riyals, not 145 riyals. Noise carries from room to room, and I was placed beside bachelors while staying with my family. There seemed to be five people in one room, and the noise made it hard for us to sleep. Even a chair moving in the room above sounded right by my ear. Management should carpet the floor to help reduce both the noise and how clearly sounds from neighboring rooms carry.

The service was very bad, and the staff treated us even worse. They paid no attention to the tenant.
