We had a great rest here before heading home. The room was just right for us, comfortable, and met our expectations. We also liked the pool, and the spa area was excellent. The hotel was beautiful and very clean and quiet. Everyone on staff was warm and welcoming, and the food and cocktails were delicious with plenty of variety. The coffee was great too.

We spent Christmas here with our baby and had a peaceful, relaxing stay. HP is one of the best hotels in Honiara. The grounds were well cared for, and the food was super delicious, though on the pricier side. We especially enjoyed the excellent Christmas breakfast buffet. The staff were attentive and helpful, and a big shout-out to the cleaning crew for keeping our room so clean for the baby to crawl around.

The pool is nice, and the bar on the water is the best you'll find. The service and staff are great, and the rooms are acceptable by Western standards. The food isn't great, though the art market next door has two good restaurants open from breakfast to dinner. Palm sugar and Ormis kitchen are really good and half the price. Five stars because this is the best hotel you'll find in Honiara.

I woke up itching on Christmas Day and found bedbugs. Reception wouldn't move me to another room, so I slept on the floor. I'd thought this was a good hotel, but the way they handled it fell well short of international standards. Really disappointing.

The history of Iron Bottom Sound is overwhelming, and our patio looked right out over it. The room was excellent, the grounds were beautiful, and the restaurant was better than we expected. English is the official language, though communication was sometimes a challenge. Heritage Park is a 5-star hotel and a must stay in Guadalcanal. A real gem in the Solomon Islands.
