Chalets de Palma

Tahiri made communication easy and was always available for questions. She’s very organized and works incredibly hard. I also appreciated being allowed to keep my room and bike until it was time for my ferry. The bungalow was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a little fridge, kettle, and welcome drink. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, the pool was relaxing, and the bike rental worked out perfectly. It felt like a peaceful little oasis in La digue, with easy access to most sights. I can’t recommend it enough!

The location was great, between town and the forest, and there were local shops nearby for drinks, water, or other food. My room was spacious and well presented. Breakfast was a real plus, with local fruit and eggs cooked just how I liked them. The pool was a nice size for relaxing.

The breakfast was tasty, and you can rent a bike, but it felt a bit expensive for what you get. Sound insulation was poor, the AC didn’t work well, and the shower temperature kept swinging too much.

Chalets de Palma belongs to the same family as Calou guesthouse, so we checked in and had breakfast there. Since it’s a family business, we got to know our hosts better, which was nice. The room was simple but had everything we needed, and the AC worked perfectly. We stayed three nights and had a great time. Breakfast was the best part, with fresh fruit from their garden and everything cooked at home on the spot.
