Lauria's hospitality is what made our week here so special. Breakfast came with the rate and was generous, with bread, local jelly, fresh fruit and juice, coffee, tea, and more. It was a relaxing way to start the day. The rooms were comfortable and had what we needed. The location is a little far from the beaches, but with a rental bike we could reach the good spots, including Grand Anse, pretty quickly. We'd love to come back someday.
The garden and mountainside views are wonderful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I was surprised breakfast was included, it feels like it should cost more. You can arrange bicycle rentals. Wi-Fi costs extra, and it's very expensive in the Seychelles.
Waking up to a garden view was lovely. It's a very nice place, and both the house and room were clean. They serve fresh fruit from the backyard, including banana, papaya, goyabano, star fruit and mango.
Really nice place, with an awesome breakfast and a very kind hostess. Just know you have to climb a hill to get there.
The garden is full of flowers and tropical plants, and it's a shame we had to leave. Breakfast changed each day: garden fruit, moka pot Italian coffee with milk, toast, local jam, juice, eggs, and sometimes crepes, banana bread or French toast. The woman running the house was delightful, kind and attentive. The guesthouse sits amid La Digue's greenery on the road to the island's highest viewpoint, and getting there by bike was easy enough. Our double room had a private entrance, fan and air conditioning, a small fridge, and a spacious bathroom with both shower and bathtub. Wi-Fi was available for a fee, €15 for 4 days.
