Bambous River Lodge

The best things here are the quiet, the pool, and that stunning ocean view. The place is very spacious, done in light colors, and comfortable, with welcome food goodies. It's quite far from the beach, uphill, and a fair walk from food or shops, so you'll need a car. You can order gfood to the place. The place isn't new, and all the locks were rusty and hard to use. The kitchen could use more equipment: we found one pot, one pan, and one cutting board. Also, the aircon isn't silent, despite what someone said in the comments.

We spent 11 nights at Bambous River Lodge and loved its lush garden and lovely swimming pool. The place is meticulously maintained, and the staff and management were warm, welcoming, and attentive. It's a great choice if you're looking for a self-catering apartment. We'd love to stay again.

The apartments are in pristine condition, and there's a beautiful pool in the grounds. The location is tucked away from the main roads but still close to plenty of things. Shops and the secluded Marie Laurie beach are both about a five-minute walk. Water sports, scuba diving, snorkeling, jet skiing, and the casino are around 15 minutes away on foot. Just fantastic!

We booked the two-bedroom villa for just two nights, which felt far too short. Everything was impeccable: clean, quiet, and safe, with a beautiful setting, a well-kept garden and pool, and kind, helpful staff. It's one of those rare finds you'd almost keep to yourself so it's still available when you want to return. It was a perfect place to rest and settle in after our 17-hour overnight flight.
