Beau Vallon Bungalows

A small, pleasant place with very polite and helpful staff. If I come back, I’d stay here again.

The garden is gorgeous, and the staff are kind and nice, but that wasn’t enough to make the stay comfortable. The rooms are small, the mattresses uncomfortable, and the ceiling isn’t sealed. Holes let insects, especially lizards, into the rooms. Lizards share the room with you, one even fell into my friend’s bed at night. Breakfast is poor, with bread, tea, milk, coffee, jam, margarine, juice, eggs, sausages and fruit. They bring it to the room terrace.

We loved staying here. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and I can’t complain about breakfast either. Yes, we found a crab in the shower once, and the room wasn’t the best. But if you’re coming to Seychelles to spend all your time indoors, go to Novotel nearby. For something special, where you can connect with people on the island, this is the place. We spent two weeks here years ago and had a superb vacation.

Hamile, his wife and family run the place, and they were very nice and accommodating. Breakfast on the patio was nice, the grounds were clean, and the location is central in Beau Vallon. For the price, it was a very nice stay. I’d have given five stars if not for the broken bathroom vallance window. I eventually duck-taped it shut to keep bugs from flying in at night. There were also too few outlets.
