Chez Odet Self Catering

Handy for a romantic night away.

The breakfast was quite basic, and we found dust all over the curtains. The bathroom, though private to our room, was outside it, and there was some dirt, mosquitoes and little bugs on the floor and towels. When we arrived at Chez Odet late, the welcome was poor, and nobody offered us even water, tea or coffee. There was no internet, despite what the listing said.

I stayed there twice, and the second visit was the worst. The first was so-so. The locals were okay, but you have to ask for the WiFi, and then they'll switch it off ten minutes later without warning. Both times, she tried to rip me off on the exchange rate by quite a lot. She uses her own rate, which seems stuck in the past, and it works out to a €20 difference. Avoid it.
