Coral Strand Smart Choice Hotel

We had a great time at Coral Strand Hotel. The pool and hotel sit right by the beach, and everything was very clean. The rooms have a chic, modern look after the major renovations in 2025/2026. Service was great too. Arul was especially lovely, always friendly and courteous, and made the best coffee. Thank you!

Breakfast had a huge range of choices, and Sandesh and Sidd from the restaurant were so helpful. Krishna and Prabhat also gave us excellent service by the pool. We were very well looked after throughout, and the hotel staff were wonderful. Sanjay and Sakura at reception were particularly helpful. There was nothing I could fault, and I’d definitely recommend the hotel for a holiday in Seychelles.

We felt at home in the restaurant, and the team there were always keen to help at breakfast and on the ocean deck. Chef Paul even told us not to eat breakfast before our rough-sea trip to Praslin, which felt like a thoughtful bit of care. The staff’s warmth carried through the whole stay. Shihan at guest relations was helpful and made sure things were taken care of; they picked up on our preferences and gave us their best. The birthday cake and room decorations were a lovely touch. Our room was lavish and housekeeping kept it in great shape. Coral strands was a smart choice, with direct beach access and shops and key facilities nearby, which mattered since transport isn’t easy here. Even the switchboard had different socket types, so we didn’t have to hunt for a charging plug. All those details made our vacation extra special.

We stayed four nights and had a very good time. Everyone was cooperative, and when a small amount was missing, they worked with us and gave vouchers instead. Mohit Bisht at breakfast was lovely, both as a chef and as a person. Thank you.
