Le Domaine de Bacova

We visited in April and loved our stay. The room was lovely and clean, and the location made it easy to get to the airport, jetty, and beaches. Henry was helpful with communication and arranging what we needed.

We had a lovely stay and would like to come back. The apartment was nicely furnished, and the terrace overlooking the ocean was something special. Henri was very nice and suggested plenty of nearby restaurants, shops, and activities. Shops are within walking distance from the well-located apartment. For beaches, Anse Soleil was our favorite, though you really need to rent a car to get there. Walking isn't practical, and taxis are expensive.

We're leaving tomorrow after a weekend here, and I'm sad to go. The place is amazing, and I was so taken by its vibe when we arrived that I forgot to take pictures of the lovely decorations. The photos I did take don't do it justice. Henri was friendly and informative before and during our stay. He checked on us regularly and was easy to reach if we had a question or needed anything. The staff were all friendly and helpful too. You'll have to experience the place yourself.

Henri and his team made us feel welcome, and they're caring, genuine people who speak several languages, so communication was easy. There's a secluded stretch of private beach, and shops, restaurants, and a rum distillery are nearby. The airport is really close too. I only wish our holiday had been longer. The nearby road is the one downside. On most parts of the island, being near a beach means being near a road, and the solid building and windows kept the noise acceptable for us. We also enjoyed hearing the next-door church's Sunday singing in the morning. Thanks, Henri and team. We hope to be back soon.
