Although it’s about a 30-minute drive from Victoria and somewhat isolated on the island, once you arrive there’s little reason to leave. The restaurant is excellent, breakfast especially, and there’s a small grocery store across the street for snacks. This beautiful boutique hotel sits right on the water, with spectacular sea views and water that’s great for exploring corals. Guests can use a small kayak, a lovely touch, and there’s a nice pool with sun chairs. The common areas are well kept, and the rooms are comfortable and very clean. Staff were friendly, smiling, and helpful throughout, especially assistant manager Natacha. I’d definitely recommend it for a relaxing seaside stay on Mahe Island.

We had a lovely visit on our last day in Seychelles. The staff were very nice, and our room was lovely and fairly priced. We had a delicious dinner with an ocean view. The location was great too, with a supermarket and ATM across the street.

This wasn’t a great place to stay. It felt disorganized and not clean, and things didn’t look okay. We booked a particular room, but were told we’d been upgraded. Later we realized they’d put us in the old rooms even though newer, better ones were available. The staff seemed disorganized too, and the bedsheets looked old and not fresh. Breakfast didn’t look okay either.

We loved this place and stayed three nights. The staff were amazing, attentive, and accommodating in every way. The location was perfect, with clear water and sharks and bats around. Would recommend.

Borrowing snorkeling gear and a bus pass from the hotel was a real help, and when I unexpectedly had to change my booking dates, the staff made it easy. Their genuine care made me feel valued. From the moment I arrived at Crown beach in Seychelles, I was met with warm smiles and service that went above and beyond. My room was spotless and beautifully decorated, with lovely ocean and mountain views. Waking up to that scenery was a treat, and I especially enjoyed the beach. The amenities were top-notch, and the attention to detail made it feel like a luxurious escape. The staff were always friendly, attentive, and ready to help. It was an unforgettable stay, and I’d highly recommend Crown Beach to anyone wanting a slice of paradise in Seychelles.
