Farida Apartments

Juliana made our holiday feel special from the start. We arrived to cold drinks, which were very welcome in the heat, and breakfast was already in the fridge. The two rooms each have their own bathroom and were furnished with everything we needed. They were cleaned, the beds remade and towels changed every three days. Somehow the water dispenser always got refilled and the rubbish emptied, too. Getting a place at Farida Apartment felt like pure luck. Juliana is such a warm host and did everything she could to make our stay memorable. I’m so grateful she welcomed me, and I’ll definitely come back. My time on Mahé will stay with me. Thank you for everything, Juliana.

Juliana made a hard moment much easier. When my daughter came down with a fever at night, she drove us straight to a doctor. Thankfully, it turned out to be sunstroke. She also arranged our boat trips and always had a suggestion when we asked about shallow beaches or inexpensive souvenirs. In the evenings she cooked us generous, delicious dinners, and her kindness made this the best trip of my life. We spent 10 days in the Seychelles in a place that had everything we needed. The apartment was clean, with two large bedrooms and bathrooms, a roomy living area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The location was spot on, just a short walk from a lovely beach and a supermarket with a good selection.

You can take your time here, snorkel at one of the island’s prettiest spots at Anse Royale, and cook fresh fish. Farida Apartment really suits that kind of laid back holiday. Juliana is a caring, terrific host, and the apartment is spotless and comfortable, with a location that gives you room to do things at your own pace. Hire a car to explore the island or use the local bus. It’s a premium stay, but good value.

Juliana was wonderfully helpful throughout our stay, and she’s a really good cook, too. The accommodation is in a peaceful spot surrounded by greenery, and it’s easy to reach from the airport. Maximum marks from me. When I come back to the Seychelles, I’ll stay here again.
