Georgina's Cottage

The staff were professional, the location is great, and breakfast left me satisfied without feeling stuffed. One thing to know: there’s a very lively restaurant across the street, and it’s quite good too. Bring earplugs.

Right by the beach in a good location. Breakfast was very simple and there wasn’t much service. They made the beds but didn’t replace the towels. The shower water was weak, and the A/C needs help.

We’re coming back next week, and I’m excited to have another great stay. Georgina's place is a lovely bed and breakfast in Beau Vallon, on the western side of Mahe. Our room was spacious and clean, with a porch looking over the bay. The beach is directly across the road, and restaurants, bars, and a grocery store are within walking distance. The bar opposite was noisy in the evening but quiet by 10 pm, so it wasn’t a problem. Breakfast was eggs and fruit, plus strong, tasty coffee or tea and mango juice.

The location turned out to be really good even though it looks far from the center. It’s right next to the beach, some of the best restaurants of beau vallon, and the diving center. My wife and I had an excellent stay: clean, spacious rooms and very helpful, nice staff. Good value for money, overall, in a B&B style place.
