The pool was one of the best parts for us. It was almost always free, so most of the time it felt like we had it to ourselves. We also enjoyed relaxing on the patio, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The house in Mahé was peaceful, very clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. I'd highly recommend staying here if you want somewhere comfortable and quiet in Mahé.

The staff are available 24/7 and were really helpful. The owner lives on site and is very friendly, and she suggested local places to eat and visit. I'd highly recommend having a car because the property is a little way up in the hills, though we walked to places for dinner and shopping in the evenings. We stayed for 3 nights in a one bed room apartment. It was a good size, with a nice kitchen, big bathroom and private balcony. The room was a little dark at night, but that was part of the mood. The shared pool was really good for sitting with a drink and watching the sunset. There was also a washing machine and a place to dry clothes, which helped after 10 days away.

The view was phenomenal, the hosts were THE BEST, and the pool was great for cooling off. Renting a car is advisable since walking or cycling around the island isn't easy. We did often walk to the beach, though the road is quite steep. We'd definitely stay here again when visiting Mahé. Also really want to see Mid nuit again one day!

After sunset there isn't much to do, so I'd highly recommend a swim in the pool. For getting around, this place is great even for solo travelers, with a bus stop right outside the hotel. Bus number 6 takes 25 minutes from the airport, and you can take bus 9 to go hiking at Morne blanc. There's also a supermarket ten minutes away on foot. Dorothy was kind and found the bus schedules for me.
