La Pointe Beach Huts

Hummingbird hut has a plunge pool, which was lovely for winding down after a day at the beach or exploring. The beach huts are well equipped, comfortable, and practical, with fans and air conditioning. They’re private, set in beautiful gardens, and there’s even a mangrove full of wildlife. Some visitors pop in to say hi, while the bright green geckos clearly share your space. The beach and snorkeling are just a stone’s throw away. Rooms are cleaned daily except Sundays, with fresh towels and bedding every 3 days. Anacell and her team are welcoming and available until 4pm each day except Sunday. La Rochers restaurant is a two-minute walk away, with amazing sunsets and a nice spot for a sundowner. You’ll need a hire car to try other restaurants or get groceries if you plan to eat in. Having a car also makes it easier to explore the island’s beautiful beaches and Vallee de Mai. We had a really lovely, relaxing stay at Hummingbird Beach Hut.

The staff were wonderful, kind, and attentive, and the place was spotlessly clean every day. We even received a free upgrade before arriving. The unit had laundry and a well-equipped kitchen with cooking basics. We had a great stay at one of the most stunning resorts we’ve visited. The only downside was losing power during a severe storm. That wasn’t the hotel’s fault, though a more central hotel might have avoided the problem.

The beautiful beach is just across the street, about a two-minute walk away. We spent a week at la Pointe beach huts and loved the authentic setting among tropical nature, with huge palm and fruit trees and singing birds all around. The apartment was spacious, clean, and had daily service, making it a lovely place to relax. We’d love to come back and would recommend it to others!

We were greeted warmly by the friendly staff, and they even offered us a chilled coconut as a refreshment. The apartment was cozy, spacious, and clean. The internet was fast and reliable, and the staff were very helpful. I highly recommend this place.
