The villa was beautiful, with lovely furnishings and a very private beach. The owners were helpful, too. I'd absolutely recommend it, if you can get a booking.

Catherina's breakfasts were generous, and she served them with such warmth and a smile. The villa itself is huge, with a spectacular sea view, a private beach, and a few steps down to the beach and ocean. There's also a spa where you can watch beautiful sunsets. I was disappointed, though, by the run-down rooms and bathrooms, which need renovation. Some photos should be updated too, especially the kitchen picture, which looks much older.

Villa Sofia was the best part of our holiday, and we'll always remember it fondly. It's an authentic, wonderful place right by the sea, with unforgettable sunsets. The owners were extremely helpful and the staff were excellent. We asked the staff to cook for us, and the local food was fabulous, much better than at any restaurant we tried. A real paradise. Five stars don't feel like enough.
