La Belle Tortue

The food was the standout for us at La Belle Tortue. Half-board came with a wonderful four-course dinner, and everything from breakfast and lunch to cocktails, snacks, ice cream, and French pastries at tea time was consistently excellent. The team seemed to know what we needed before we asked, and we felt welcome as soon as we arrived. We also loved how carefully the rooms, garden, and restaurant were designed. The hotel is beside what we think is the most beautiful beach you can reach easily without a hike or boat, and La Passe and the local museum are only a short way away. Thanks to the housekeeping staff, the two waiters, the gardener and caretaker, the chefs, and management for such a memorable stay.

Benjamin and the team’s four-course dinner was the daily highlight. We spent a whole week here, hiking through nearly untouched nature, sometimes without seeing anyone else. It was just the kind of beautiful, peaceful place where you can relax and feel at home. We had a wonderful time and hope to make it back someday. Kim & Holger

The only thing that disappointed us was the shower pressure. Apart from that, we had a lovely four days at La Belle during our three-week Seychelles honeymoon. Our room was beautifully decorated, with champagne and fresh fruit waiting for us, which was a lovely surprise. The private beach was clean and quiet, and great for snorkeling. Service was friendly and accommodating, and the food was exceptional, especially the four-course dinner. We’d happily recommend this boutique hotel.

We took an amazing two-hour snorkeling trip by boat, definitely recommend it. You can also borrow snorkeling equipment and gear for other activities at the hotel. The spacious rooms look out over the private beach and sea, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. Thanks for the amazing food, Benjamin! There is some kind of workshop just behind the house, though, and it takes away from the otherwise idyllic setting.
