The rooms were spacious, with a stunning lake view, and the location was beautiful. It was a pleasant place for a night, and breakfast was basic but enough to get us going. We stayed as a team, though the service left us disappointed. On arrival, the owner seemed rushed and unwelcoming. We hadn’t even fully come in before it felt like he wanted to get back to his private life, even though part of our group was still waiting and we hadn’t planned the evening yet. Later, I texted to ask about buying drinks but got no reply. The owner came back to the hotel frustrated that we hadn’t asked earlier, then gave us drinks and snacks without explaining the prices or service. In the morning, as we hurried to leave, we asked if we owed anything. He said, “yes, of course,” as though the amount should have been obvious, even though he hadn’t told us any prices. We were charged 780 SEK for six small non-alcoholic beers. That felt excessive when a 24-pack of the same brand costs around 200 SEK at a local store. The poor communication made the whole thing feel badly handled. The rooms and setting are wonderful, but clearer information about prices and services would improve the experience a lot.

There’s a free parking space in front of this charming B&B, which is in a great spot, just 50 meters from the lake shore. Rooms with lake views have balconies overlooking the water. There’s also a prepared place where you can swim in the lake.

We had a lovely weekend rest right by the lake, and finishing the Pilgrim path there made it a great experience. The owner was very welcoming and gave us useful tips for visiting the region. Our room was clean, with linen and towels provided. The living, dining, and breakfast room was beautifully decorated, and the meals were generous and tasty.

A good-price hotel in a really nice location. The mountains are just 2min away, and a big ski resort is a 5min drive.
