The bedding was clean, as were the towels, though they looked a little worn and frayed. The place could use some TLC: the sink was cracked, and I killed two spiders in the bathroom. Free Wi-Fi.

A charming hotel close to the city center, but it should have been renovated.

The owners were nice, but the place was quite run down. The hotel breakfast was bad, and so was the hotel bar. Toilet and bathroom maintenance was below standard, with broken lights and other issues.

There’s no chef and no alcohol service, but it’s a pleasant hotel at a reasonable price. It cost 995kr for two adults with a dog.

Affordable accommodation, with breakfast only and no catering. You’re allowed to bring your own drinks into the back garden.
