I spend more than a third of the year in hotels, and over many years I've never had anything close to this bizarre experience. The owner made me worry about my physical safety, and that concern turned out to be justified when he put his hands on me. I'd advise everyone to stay away from this place and its unpredictable owner. It started over a pretty middling breakfast, just cold cuts, fruit, and some cereal, with no scrambled eggs or bacon. While toasting bread, I accidentally left a plastic butter pack on the hot plate used to keep food warm. The plastic didn't melt, and the butter wasn't even fully melted by the time the toast was done. The plate was warm to the touch, not hot enough to burn your hand. The owner came over, picked up the butter pack, shook it in my face, and said I'd ruin the hot plate. I was shocked, and after checking that nothing was damaged, I told him to relax because nothing had happened. He flew into a rage, gestured and shouted, cursed at me, and said I had 10 minutes to eat and check out. His behavior was so bizarre that all I could do was laugh. I said nothing more, finished breakfast, and got ready to leave. At checkout, when he'd calmed down somewhat, I asked if he wanted to apologize. After that breakfast scene, I felt I was owed one. He erupted again and, as I was leaving, physically pushed me out the door. He actually assaulted me 😅😅😅.

We were the only guests when we arrived, so they asked what time we'd like breakfast. Someone walked us to our spacious room and showed us where everything was. There was a surprisingly generous amount of food at breakfast for just the two of us. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A wonderful hotel with beautiful decor. The attendant was very attentive, and the bedroom matched the picture. Everything was perfect. I'd recommend it for a trip to the interior of Sweden.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the food was delicious, so compliments to the chef. The cozy hotel and room had everything I needed. I had a pleasant stay and would happily come back if I get the chance. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
