The location is right in the center of Arvika, and some of the rooms are great, though others aren't. I'm bothered that breakfast now costs extra, 18€ if I remember right. That's unusual in Sweden and doesn't feel okay. This will probably be my last night here.

The comfortable beds meant we slept well, and the stay was okay overall. But the room felt dated, with a distinctly 1980s look, and could use an update. Its window faced the inner courtyard, right beside the outdoor dining area, so there wasn't much privacy. Getting to the parking area by car was frustrating, since the signs were poor and the directions unclear. Better communication and refreshed rooms would make a difference.

The service is good and accommodating, and it's convenient to have a bar and restaurant for food or a place to chill. Breakfast is available, and there are relaxing extras like a pool and spa. Rooms are standard; some are a little small, though they can fit families with kids, groups of friends, couples with pets, and an extra bed. The room quality and standard could use a touch up.
