The surroundings are beautiful, and there are several hiking spots and castles nearby. I had a lovely stay, and everything felt good for the price. One thing to sort out before arriving: call the property to confirm the details. The website information was misleading, and they seemed unsure about which emails and texts they had sent. I booked breakfast, then got an email saying I couldn't have it. When I spoke to them, it turned out they were expecting me for breakfast after all.

Out in the countryside, with classic regional dishes like their huge egg cake with pork, this feels like a real taste of Skåne. They also celebrate Edvard Persson, who embodies the region.

The truffles were amazing too, and the burger was huge and really well prepared. We enjoyed the food in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

I haven't tried staying in a room here, though that's an option. The place has a distinct 20-30s feel, and the old-school Scanian food is great. The smorgasbord was wonderful and well worth the price.
